5 Important Ferguson Lessons

In the aftermath of the Ferguson riots and looting it is wise to examine the societal patterns, institutions, and policies that are culprits in generating such events; from Michael Brown robbing the store, his subsequent shooting by the cop, to the mass looting after the Grand Jury verdict.

1. Dilapidated Black Culture

Remember when white people rioted and looted after O.J. Simpson was acquitted for the murder of two white people, his wife and her lover? Me neither.
Sure, white people occasionally have mini-riots after sports games but not when it comes down to judicial proceedings in an attempt to subvert the process, no matter how poor that process might be in a statist society.

It speaks volumes about black communities when they feel that unrelated wanton destruction of private property and businesses in their own community is a perfectly reasonable and productive response to perceived mistreatment by the state.
Those within black communities who dare to speak about the abysmal statistics, the pervasive violence and misogyny in rap music, rampant child abuse (intertwined with hyper religiosity), drug use, and incarceration rate, all as being a result of culture of scapegoating, are promptly attacked as race traitors and cultural hegemonists.

2. Welfare and Warfare State

USA has become the most blundering, warmongering state on the planet. Not just through military wars but also through wars on abstract phenomena, social trends, and inanimate objects. It is therefore no surprise what happens when such approach to reality is taken.

We noted previously on the devastating effects of the state on society but no group has been more affected by this than the black community.
Ever since President Lyndon Johnson launched the War on Poverty in 1964, a massive, unprecedented distribution of wealth began to occur to this day, requiring more money to be stolen through taxation. From the minimum wage laws, food stamps, public housing, Medicaid, day care, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families which penalized marriage. A mother on average would receive far more money from welfare if she was single rather than married. Just this had wide reaching consequences for the breakdown of families in black communities, and we already know that single parenthood is the single greatest predictor for failure in life, for many obvious and less obvious reasons.

In short, every single thing that government did to help raise people out of poverty had the exact opposite effect by creating welfare programs that incentivized the very behaviors that are most likely to perpetuate poverty. Shortly after that came the insanity of War on Drugs; black communities coming out of institutionalized racism-induced poverty never stood a chance. The state was helping them to subvert themselves through the welfare state and actively subverted them through the warfare state of the criminal system.

Yet, this knowledge was available to many, even then. Instead of choosing to fight the state by ignoring its toxic welfare programs they chose to embrace them and wallow in them.

3. Broken System

By now, it is well understood that police poses an immediate danger to society. It is highly ineffective as a security service, it breeds contempt and corruption, it is not incentivised to produce quality personnel trained in de-escalation, and it is embedded within a system which shields it from accountability. When you can’t even find official data on how many people police murders every year, you have a huge problem.

Not only that, the judicial branch itself sees itself as a default defender of police instead of being impartial. This was quite clearly exposed with the prosecutorial misconduct when presenting the Michael Brown case to the Grand Jury.

The chief prosecutor, Robert McCulloch, misrepresented what the job of the Grand Jury is, which is not to try to determine the truth, once and for all, of what actually happened. That’s what a subsequent trial is for. But the prosecutors told Darren Wilson’s grand jury that was exactly what they were supposed to do — to “try to figure out what really happened” as he himself said at a press conference.

Instead, jurors should’ve been told at the beginning of the investigation that their job is to decide whether there was probable cause that a crime was committed — in the case of a police shooting, a grand jury would need to find probable cause that the cop did not “reasonably believe” that the victim posed a threat at the time of the shooting.

This is nothing new; prosecutors are even known to deliberately hide evidence which would help exonerate the defendant. Of course, when this comes to light no consequence is suffered.

4. Professional Race Baiters

You can count on these familiar faces to appear in every instance of even an inkling of race relations issue. Superficially, like all conmen, to an uninformed mind they make themselves appear as staunch social justice warriors, but when you look deeper nothing could be further from the truth.

for the sake of brevity lets focus on Al Sharpton. He entered the national stage when, as a young demagogue, he accused a NY assistant district attorney, Steven Pagones, of raping a 15-year-old girl, Tawana Brawley. Actually, Sharpton claimed that Pagones had anally raped Brawley, and then scrawled the initials “KKK” on Brawley’s torso in feces.

Not only that, but Sharpton accused Gov. Mario Cuomo and other state officials of covering up the crime. Officer Crist, who, according to testimony of family and friends, was already dealing with depression over personal issues, committed suicide, very likely pushed over the edge by the onslaught of defamatory accusations and hateful publicity orchestrated by Al.
But Sharpton, ever the societal carrion, even exploited the Crist suicide, accusing Pagones of murdering Crist to keep secret their rape of Miss Brawley. As with all of his other outrageous charges, he offered no evidence.

Eventually, The Grand Jury released its 170-page report in October 1988. In the conclusion the Grand Jury stated:

Based upon all of the evidence that has been presented to the Grand Jury, we conclude that Tawana Brawley was not the victim of a forcible sexual assault by multiple assailants over a four-day period. There is no evidence that any sexual assault occurred.

The Grand Jury also exonerated prosecutor Steven Pagones, who later was awarded $345,000 in a defamation lawsuit against Sharpton, Maddox, and Mason. Sharpton never apologized and had his duped supporters foot the bill.

However, Sharpton’s motives soon came to light. Perry McKinnon, a decorated black Vietnam veteran and former cop, told federal investigators that Sharpton had admitted privately that he didn’t believe Tawana Brawley’s story, but intended to ride it to fame and glory. McKinnon stated:

Sharpton acknowledged to me early on that “The Brawley story do (sic) sound like bull****, but it don’t matter. We’re building a movement. This is the perfect issue. Because you’ve got whites on blacks. That’s an easy way to stir up all the deprived people, who would want to believe and who would believe — and all [you’ve] got to do is convince them — that all white people are bad. Then you’ve got a movement…. It don’t matter whether any whites did it or not. Something happened to her … even if Tawana don’t (sic) it to herself.”

Perry McKinnon submitted to a lie detector test administered on camera and passed all questions. In the Retro Report video, McKinnon further remarked, on camera:

This whole situation is not about Tawana Brawley. It’s about Mason, Maddox, and Sharpton taking over the town. Their exact words were, “We beat this, we will be the biggest Niggers in New York.

He has a long and ignoble history of racism and division, just one of his many buffoonish and racist quotes:

“White folks was in the caves while we [blacks] was building empires … We built pyramids before Donald Trump ever knew what architecture was … we taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

Now, Al Sharpton is better off than ever with his own show on MSNBC and as a regular guest of other shows on the network where he can spew his bile more efficiently than ever before.

5. Parasitic Media

Which of these two pictures have you seen most on the mainstream media, left or right?

There is a reason why  such a despicable toad like Al Sharpton could get his very own TV show on a major network.
It has been a long time since media in USA was about the public good and accurate information. It instead became a race for ratings so the corporations would create more ad revenue. In this business framework it makes perfect sense to constantly rile people up to retain the attention of viewers and even generate the news itself, when aggravated people start to riot and loot.

You might have noticed this when they started to portray Michael Brown as an innocent schoolboy, instead of a vicious thug who rapped about violence and grew up in an environment where his mother engages in a behavior where she gets another thug to beat with a pipe a person selling the Michael Brown merchandise, and then taking off with the loot.
